Senior Azure Cloud & Platform Engineer

French-speaking Switzerland | Hybrid | Long term contract

As part of the growth of our Data & AI practice, keyIT SA is looking for a Senior Azure Cloud & Platform Engineer to support our clients across French-speaking Switzerland with the architecture, industrialisation and modernisation of their Cloud environments.

Are you highly experienced with Microsoft Azure, Terraform and Hub & Spoke architectures, and interested in working on Cloud projects with a strong Data & AI focus? This opportunity could be for you.
 

Your responsibilities:
You will be responsible for:

  • Designing and evolving secure Azure Landing Zones and Hub & Spoke architectures.

  • Industrialising infrastructure deployments using Terraform, Infrastructure as Code and Azure DevOps CI/CD.

  • Auditing, modernising and securing existing Azure platforms.

  • Designing secure private network architectures.

  • Contributing to hybrid architecture and sovereign Cloud projects.

  • Supporting the continuous improvement, automation and production readiness of Cloud environments.

Cloud for Data & AI expertise is a strong plus

Experience deploying Data platforms on Azure is a significant advantage, particularly with:
Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, ADLS Gen2 and Unity Catalog.

You will work alongside our Data Architects and Data Engineers to build end-to-end Data platforms, covering network architecture, Terraform provisioning, private connectivity, security and deployment automation.

  • Microsoft Azure

  • Hub & Spoke architectures

  • Azure private networking

  • Azure Landing Zones

  • Private Endpoints & Private DNS

  • Microsoft Entra ID, RBAC & Key Vault

  • Azure DevOps

  • YAML pipelines & CI/CD

  • Infrastructure as Code

Experience with Azure Data Platforms and GenAI services is highly valued.
 

Engagement details:
Location: Client assignments primarily in Geneva and the canton of Vaud.
 

Working model: 
Hybrid, approximately 3 days on-site and 2 days remote.
Duration: Long term
Start date: As soon as possible.
